This blog is written by a group of four twenty-something West Virginia women who grew up together, and created their own world through an online role play forum in their teenage years. They later discovered that their little piece of internet had a lasting effect on all their lives that has stayed with them through the years. Each of them split off and is doing something different with their adult lives, but has been willing to come back and enjoy the nostalgia of writing about something they cared so deeply about in their youth.
Here's a little information about everyone!
Rachel lives on a farm in Athens, West Virginia where she raises goats and rabbits. She writes all of the time but rarely does anything productive with said writing. She runs an online business called Dayfly Books where she sells rare books and collectible antiques. Her hobbies include collecting books and vintage toys, researching folklore, and watching British comedies.
Shey Laura is a soon-to-be music therapist from Athens, West Virginia. She mostly writes session plans, but sometimes she writes songs, too. She drinks too much coffee, plays too many instruments, listens to her music too loud, and talks way too much. She is kind of too much.
L.C. Smith has a law degree and current works in retail. She loves to read and drink monster energy drinks. She is often found at the public library. She takes a daily walk where she imagines herself in another world. She has a pomeranian who does not come to said person when called. She is currently studying for her bar.
Emma works as a drinking water analyst in an environmental chemistry laboratory. She lives in Charleston with her husband, three dogs, four cats, and one very feisty turtle. She is incredibly passionate about STEM education, and volunteers for a 4-H girls coding club when school is in session. The highlight of her year is the week she spends volunteering as a 4-H camp counselor.
